Chase Bombers is a Konami racing game with vehicular combat, developed on proprietary late-90s hardware, in which cars not only compete for position but also fire weapons at each other along the circuit.
It sits within that tradition of racing-combat hybrids that titles like Twisted Metal popularized on consoles, translated into the more immediate language of arcades. It wasn't a big commercial success, but it's an interesting curiosity in Konami's late catalog on proprietary boards.
