Crazy Climber is a 1980 Nichibutsu arcade game in which the player climbs a skyscraper's facade using two joysticks, one for each of the character's hands/legs, dodging closing windows, falling flowerpots, and even a giant gorilla at the top. Its control scheme was a rarity at the time and became part of its identity.
It's one of the great classics of the arcade's golden age, with an absurd premise and a challenging control scheme that remains satisfying to master. A must for understanding the mechanical creativity of early-80s Japanese arcades.
