DS Telejan is a Japanese board whose name points to mahjong -"jan" is the usual abbreviation for the game in Japanese- within the huge production of mahjong machines with different twists that dominated much of the Japanese arcade market during the 80s and 90s. Like most of those boards, it never sought an international release: documentation outside Japan is scarce, and its interest today is more that of a catalog curiosity than of a widely played title.
