Eeekk! was developed by Shinkai Inc. and published by Epos Corporation in 1983, the same company behind other curious conversion kits like The Glob or Beastie Feastie. It runs on original Pac-Man hardware, adapted with its own game while keeping the technical base of Namco's classic, a common industry practice so arcade operators could recycle cabinets without buying new machines.
It's a rare title even within the universe of conversion kits, belatedly rescued for preservation in MAME, and its interest today is mostly archaeological: an example of how the secondary business of arcade hardware resale worked in the eighties.
