Kozure Ookami brings to the arcade the story of Lone Wolf and Cub (Kozure Ookami), the famous manga and film about an exiled samurai who travels Japan as a hired assassin while caring for his young son. The gameplay translates that premise into sword-combat action against waves of enemies. It's one of the lesser-known arcade adaptations of a Japanese work of great cultural weight, valued for keeping much of the source material's somber tone in its setting.
