Abenteurer - Die Weltraum Odyssee (The Adventurer: The Space Odyssey) is a text adventure in German, a genre that saw very active development in the hobbyist scene of Germany and Austria for the 8-bit Atari computers, generally distributed through magazines or user clubs. Like most of these homemade productions, it circulated outside commercial channels and left little documentary trace; its interest today is that of a piece of archaeology from the German text-adventure scene.
