The Addams Family was published by Ocean Software in 1992, based on the 1991 film of the same name, and brought to a huge number of platforms, among them the Atari ST. In the skin of Gomez Addams, the player roams the family mansion saving his relatives from the clutches of Abigail Craven, jumping on enemies, dodging traps and using objects from the house, such as the fez that lets him glide, to reach inaccessible corners. It is one of the many movie-licensed games that defined Ocean's catalog in the early 90s: eye-catching, faithful to the franchise's tone and made for a broad audience, rather than for the demanding player of the ST scene.
