Alfred's Kistenlager Schiebereinen is, judging by its name ("Alfred's crate warehouse"), a puzzle in the Sokoban mold: moving crates around a depot by pushing them onto the marked squares, with no way to pull them or undo a wrong push. It is a format the German PD and shareware scene for Atari cultivated with enthusiasm, given how cheap it was to program and how addictive the level design was. There is no firm record of authorship, typical of this kind of homemade program distributed on floppy among user clubs. It remains, in essence, a pure exercise in spatial logic: thinking several moves ahead before moving the first crate.
