Avalon Quiz joins the wave of question-and-answer programs that flourished after the success of Trivial Pursuit in the 80s, using the name of the mythical Arthurian isle as its brand. There's no reliable data on the studio behind it or on the exact content of its questions, something common in this kind of niche software, often made by small publishers or independent authors.
Like every trivia game of the era, its shelf life depended on how up-to-date or clever its question bank was, something that ages poorly over time. Today it survives mainly as a catalog piece within the enormous universe of quizzes that accompanied home computers.
