Hard Drivin' is the Atari Lynx adaptation of Atari Games' influential driving simulator, originally published in arcades in 1989 as one of the first polygonal 3D racing games with realistic driving physics, loops included.
Bringing that experience to a cartridge-based handheld meant obvious cutbacks compared to the arcade original, but its mere presence in the Lynx catalog confirms Atari's ambition to bring its most technical titles down to pocket format.
