One of Atari's first games to bet on fear rather than pure action: you have to explore a dimly lit haunted mansion, with only a candle for light, searching for the three pieces of a sacred urn while a ghost and other creatures lurk offscreen, revealed only by sound or glowing eyes in the dark. Managing limited visibility and the tension of what can't be seen anticipate mechanics that survival horror wouldn't formally establish until a decade later. A foundational piece, far more influential than its modest technology suggests.
