Motor Psycho came out in 1991, developed by BlueSky Software and published by Atari Corporation: the player competes on an off-road motorcycle over tracks full of ramps and drops, earning points for stunts as well as lap time, in a formula close to the motocross games of the era. It was one of the last original titles the 7800 received before Atari finished shifting its resources to the Lynx and, later, the Jaguar. It's a cartridge little remembered outside collector circles, but it documents well the company's late effort to keep adding genre variety to a console already at a disadvantage against 16-bit competition.
