Steel Talons arrived on the Lynx in 1992, developed by NuFX and published by Atari Corporation: the player pilots a combat helicopter through missions combining reconnaissance, attacks on ground targets, and confrontations against other aircraft, all from a cockpit perspective aiming to convey the feeling of really being in command of the machine. For its time, the flight simulation it offered in such a small format was uncommon. It's one of the most technically ambitious titles in the Lynx's late catalog, representing that line of first-person military simulators that NuFX also explored on other Atari systems during those same years.
