Wolfenstein 3D is the Atari Jaguar port of id Software's pioneering first-person shooter, originally released in 1992, in which the player must escape a Nazi castle during World War II while facing increasingly tough guards and bosses.
Its arrival on the Jaguar, even ahead of the console's own Doom conversion, helped establish the system as one of the home platforms best suited to the genre id Software was defining in those very same years.
