Pit-Fighter arrived on the Lynx in 1992, developed by Al Baker & Associates and published by Atari Corporation, as a conversion of Atari Games' 1990 arcade that had caused a stir for using digitized real actors instead of hand-drawn sprites: street brawls with up to three simultaneous fighters, with a rough, violent style that contrasted with the more technical fighting games starting to appear at the time. The subtitle The Ultimate Competition revives the full name under which the original arcade version circulated. It's one of the crudest conversions in the Lynx catalog, faithful to the no-rules street-spectacle spirit that had made the original arcade both controversial and popular.
