90 Minutes - Sega Championship Football is a football simulator made by Smilebit, the studio that around those same years was defining Sega's more creative identity with Jet Set Radio; in Japan it circulated as J.League Spectacle Soccer, adapted to the local league, while in Europe it was sold as a generic football product to compete with the established FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer franchises.
It arrived late, in 2001, when Dreamcast was already losing commercial ground, and got overshadowed by rivals with more official licensing resources. Today it's a curiosity for those following Smilebit's trajectory more than a classic of the sports genre.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
