Cool Boarders Burrrn! continues the snowboarding series UEP Systems had been developing since PlayStation, with arcade handling centered on chaining tricks and gaining speed on the way down rather than on any demanding physics simulation. This version arrived exclusively in Japan for Dreamcast, at a moment when the extreme sports genre was at its commercial peak thanks to the success of series like Tony Hawk.
It didn't have the impact of its PlayStation counterparts nor of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater itself on the same console, but it remains a valid option for anyone looking for arcade snowboarding within the machine's Japanese catalog.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
