Boku no Tennis Jinsei (literally, My Life in Tennis) is the work of Bimboosoft, a Japanese studio specializing in raising-and-character-management simulators applied to sports, a format very particular to the local market that combined training statistics with the narrative progression of a fictional player.
It's a niche title even within Japan, far removed from the arcade sports simulators that dominated the rest of Dreamcast's catalog. It had no Western release, and its interest today is mostly archaeological, as a demonstration of the huge variety of sports formulas the Japanese market tried in those years.
