Ao no 6-gou - Saigetsu Hito o Matazu - Time and Tide adapts the world of Blue Submarine No. 6, the late-'90s marine sci-fi OVA known for blending traditional animation with early CGI. Sega handled development, aiming to recreate the underwater combat and melancholic tone of the original story.
It's a licensed title made for the OVA's fans, with no release outside Japan; its interest today lies in being one more piece of the anime-Dreamcast crossover that characterized the console's Japanese catalog in its final years.
