Capcom vs. SNK - Millennium Fight 2000 brought together characters from Street Fighter and King of Fighters on the same fighting plane for the first time, with a ratio-based selection system that forced players to think of their team as a balance of power and headcount rather than a simple lineup of favorites.
It's a key piece in fighting game history for what it meant as a brand crossover -something uncommon at the time- and for laying the groundwork for the CvS saga, which would get an even more polished second entry. It remains a solid game for anyone who enjoys classic 2D fighting.
