Herr der Ringe, Der - Das dritte Zeitalter brings to Germany the turn-based RPG developed by EA Redwood Shores, which follows a group of original characters whose stories intertwine with the events of Peter Jackson's film trilogy, without ever replacing Tolkien's protagonists.
Its turn-based combat system, closer to a Final Fantasy than to the direct action of other Middle-earth adaptations, sets it apart from the rest of the licensed Lord of the Rings games of that era.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
