Domark published Marko's Magic Football in 1994 with an outlandish premise: Colonel Brown cooks up a substance in his toy factory that turns people and animals into sludge monsters, and the football belonging to Marko —a boy obsessed with the game— gets soaked in it. From then on the ball is weapon, key and means of transport, and it has to be volleyed through suburban streets, sewers, an industrial estate, a circus and the toy factory itself.
That mix of platforming and ball control looked like nothing else in Domark's catalogue, and the oddity is still its best card: a European platformer eccentric even by mid-nineties standards.
