Part of Acclaim's annual baseball series, All-Star Baseball 2001 offers officially licensed Major League teams and players, stats updated to the season, and the level of detail the saga kept polishing edition after edition through the second half of the nineties.
It's a game made for the American baseball-loving audience rather than the rest of the world, but it documents well the era's habit of releasing one sports entry per year with an updated roster.
