Command & Conquer was born on PC courtesy of Westwood Studios in 1995 and became one of the founding pillars of the real-time strategy genre, with two factions —GDI and Nod— fighting for control of the planet. This N64 version adapts that experience to joystick control, quite a challenge for a genre originally designed for mouse and keyboard.
The result is an interesting curiosity more than a go-to recommendation: it's useful for seeing just how far a PC genre could be stretched to fit into a home console's catalog during the nineties RTS fever.
