Based on the Sesame Street franchise, this title casts Elmo as the star of a tour through different animal habitats, with each level tied to a letter of the alphabet. It's a simple platformer with gentle controls and an almost flat difficulty curve, designed so a preschooler can play it alone or with company. Like almost all of the DS era's children's licensed output, it doesn't aim for critical posterity: it does its job of entertaining while teaching, and that's where its interest lies today, as a portrait of how the industry thought about early learning before tablets and apps took over that audience.
