Chipwrecked follows the plot of the film of the same name: Alvin, Simon, Theodore, and the Chipettes end up stranded on a tropical island during a cruise, and the game translates that premise into short platforming levels and minigames built for a young audience. It's a typical movie tie-in of its era: faithful to the cast and tone of the film, with no ambition beyond accompanying the theatrical release, something that today makes it more of a childhood memory than a game worth rediscovering on its own merits.
