Bibi Blocksberg began in 1980 as an audio drama series, later spinning off into books and cartoons, and by the time it reached DS it was already a household franchise in Germany with the weight of a local Pippi Longstocking. This cartridge bundles two complete adventures — a spell-casting chaos in Neustadt and the search for a stolen spellbook — designed as simple point-and-click adventures for the young audience that already knew the witch from radio and TV.
It never left German-speaking countries and today is a rarity outside that market, but inside it remains part of Bibi's endless merchandising: for a whole generation of German girls, the DS was the way to play at being a witch between homework assignments.
