Licensed from Pixar's film Cars, this racing game puts the player behind the wheel of Lightning McQueen and other film characters on themed circuits, with power-ups and simplified handling designed for a young audience just starting out with racing games.
Like almost all of the franchise's tie-ins, it doesn't try to compete with the console's 'serious' racing games: it bets on identification with the characters and a gentle difficulty curve to hold the interest of the boys and girls who are fans of the film.
