Based on the rally series named after Scottish driver Colin McRae, this DS adaptation translates the console version's off-road racing proposition -dirt, snow, closed circuits- into a more compact, arcade format, adjusted to the handheld's technical limitations. As usually happens with DS versions of major home-console racing games, it's a more modest experience than the original, but it remains one of the few serious rally offerings the console had.
