Activision bet on a parodic space hero: Rad Gravity hops between planets, solving each world with gadgets, teleporters, and comic-book humor. An exploration platformer with likable ideas and quirky controls, thoroughly nineties in its swagger. One of those middling games that collective memory holds onto more fondly than the critics ever did.
