Angelo is a platform game for MSX, distributed only in Japan, adding to the enormous number of jump-and-dodge titles that defined much of the computer's home catalog in the '80s. As with so many of these games, the idea is to make it through fixed or minimally scrolling screens, avoiding obstacles and enemies under simple rules. It's a title preserved today mostly through the work of the MSX community rather than any particular reputation: one of many names that fill out the map of what was played in Japan outside the franchises that crossed borders.
