The Kung Fu is the Japanese title under which Hudson Soft released, in November 1987, the game known in the West as China Warrior: a PC Engine beat 'em up with controls and level structure openly inspired by Irem's Kung-Fu Master and Taito's Gladiator, but developed as original Hudson property rather than a license or direct port of either arcade game. At the time it stood out for the detail of its character art, though with noticeably weaker backgrounds by comparison. It's an interesting example of how, in PC Engine's early years, some studios preferred to build their own take on a successful formula rather than pay for the original license — something that generated more than a little confusion about its true origin over time.
