4x4 Evo brings the 4x4 Evolution series — born on Dreamcast and PC — to PlayStation 2: muddy tracks, rivers to ford, and off-road vehicles with handling heavier and more realistic than your average asphalt arcade racer. Its twist compared to other racing games of the time was treating mud, water, and slopes as real physical obstacles, not just decoration.
It's a niche title within the racing genre, valued mostly by those who enjoy technical off-roading over pure speed; today it survives as a curiosity for collectors of that generation's off-road simulators.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
