Aero Elite - Combat Academy offers flight handling more accessible than hardcore simulators, wrapped in the premise of a military academy that trains the player before sending them into aerial combat missions. It aims for a middle ground between pure arcade and simulation, without the technical ambition of PS2's more recognized combat flight titles.
It remained a minor title within an already limited genre on the console, interesting today mostly for anyone wanting to complete the map of PS2 flight games beyond the big names.
