This compilation bundles Atelier Marie and Atelier Elie, the foundational 1997 and 1999 titles Gust remastered for PS2, where the protagonist must craft items through alchemy while managing a calendar working against her.
It's a valuable document for understanding where one of Japan's longest-running JRPG series comes from, before Atelier became a recognized brand in the West as well.
