Cyber Troopers Virtual-On Marz revisits the formula Sega popularized in Japanese arcades: one-on-one duels between agile mechs, with three-dimensional movement (jumps, dashes, flight) much faster than a traditional fighting game. Marz adds a bigger narrative layer than the purely arcade entries, with its own story and characters.
It's a niche title within PS2's fighting catalog, appreciated by Virtual On followers for keeping the speed and piloting feel that made the saga famous in arcades.
