Def Jam - Fight for NY took to the extreme the formula debuted by Def Jam Vendetta: no-rules street fights, with a roster packed with hip-hop stars from the Def Jam label and a combat system built on AKI Corporation's engine, the studio behind the best wrestling games of the previous generation.
Its story of rising through the world of underground fighting, combined with its musical cast's charisma, made it one of the most beloved street-fighting games of the PS2 era, still cited as one of the best music-licensed brawlers ever made.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
