"Accel World - Kasoku no Chouten" brings to PSP the world of Reki Kawahara's light novel (the same author behind Sword Art Online) about Burst Linkers, combat avatars who fight in an accelerated version of the real world through an augmented-reality system called the Neuro Linker. The game follows the usual formula for anime adaptations of the time: action battles featuring the characters and voices from the source material.
Like almost the entire line of anime-licensed games on PSP, it stayed confined to the Japanese market and today is mostly a collector's item for franchise followers.
