Black Rock Shooter was born as an illustration by artist Huke that later inspired a Vocaloid song by ryo (supercell) and, from there, an anime OVA; this PSP game takes that universe of parallel worlds and combat and turns it into an action RPG with dungeon exploration and modified turn-based battles, starring "black rock" versions of the OVA's heroines.
It's a curious piece within the catalog because of its origin: rarely does a character born from a song and a piece of fan art end up starring in a game with a Western release.
