Benjamin Blümchen has been a central figure in German children's culture since the seventies, a talking elephant who lives in the zoo of a fictional city and stars in classic audio dramas and cartoons in the country. "Ein Tag im Zoo" ("A Day at the Zoo") brings that universe to DS with activities designed for younger kids.
Like almost every strictly German kids' license, it never sought to leave that market. Its interest today lies in the nostalgia of those who grew up with Benjamin's stories, rather than in offering a memorable gameplay proposal.
