Boxy Boy picks up the logic of the Japanese classic Sokoban: pushing crates until placing them in their correct spot, unable to pull them or undo a wrong move, which turns every screen into a small logic problem that has to be solved before moving the first crate.
Namco also brought it to other platforms under different names, and it's still cited as one of the most polished representatives of the block-pushing puzzle genre in arcades.
