Crossed Swords 2 picks up the concept of ADK's original Crossed Swords (1991): medieval combat in first-person perspective, with timed blocks and thrusts against one adversary at a time. The sequel had very limited circulation compared to the first game, which made it a rarity within the Neo Geo catalog. Its low profile made it a piece of almost exclusive interest to collectors and to those who already knew the original and wanted to see where the formula evolved.
