Fatal Fury Special (Garou Densetsu Special in Japan) is the fighting game SNK released in 1993 for Neo Geo, a revision of Fatal Fury 2 that refines the two-plane combat system, adjusts character balance, and adds several bosses from previous installments as playable fighters, with a roster much broader than its predecessors. It's considered one of the best SNK fighting games before King of Fighters' consolidation: technical, fast, and with a strongly marked visual identity, it's still today one of the favorite entry points into the Fatal Fury saga.
