Digital Keiba Shinbun - My Trackman works as an interactive sports newspaper dedicated to keiba, the horse racing that draws a massive following in Japan: it analyzes data, generates forecasts, and lets players simulate bets on races, closer to a tool for enthusiasts than an action game.
It's an absolute niche title, made for an audience that already followed horse racing outside the console. It remained a Japan exclusive and today is a curiosity about how Dreamcast also served as a support for interactive publications tied to very specific hobbies.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
