Frisky Tom arrived in Japan as one more piece of the light action catalog that populated the original Game Boy, inheriting its name from an early-'80s arcade game. It's a title that stayed off the Western radar, and there's little solid documentation circulating about it.
Today it works mostly as a catalog curiosity: a cartridge that well represents the enormous number of minor releases, with no major marketing push, that sustained the console's commercial life week after week in Japan.
