Ab durch die Hecke is the version made for the German market of the licensed video game based on DreamWorks Animation's "Over the Hedge." Like most film adaptations of that era on DS, it offers platforming levels and minigames starring the movie's characters — RJ, Verne, Hammy, and the rest of the gang — tied to the film's theatrical release schedule.
It's above all a merchandising product: it did its job as a companion piece to the cinema release, and today it mostly interests collectors of mid-2000s animated films brought to the handheld.
