Set within the universe of the German TV series about a special highway unit, Alarm für Cobra 11 brings to PS2 the formula of high-speed chases, spectacular crashes, and driving-under-pressure missions that made the show popular in Europe. It's one of several licensed driving games the franchise spawned throughout the 2000s.
Its appeal is tied almost entirely to the show's fanbase: outside Germany and the territories where it aired, it's a niche title, but within that universe it works as a logical, faithful extension of the show's chase-heavy spirit.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
