Arena Football brings to console the Arena Football League, the American league played on a reduced indoor field, with its own rules that favor offense and a breakneck pace. It's a niche simulator within a genre, American football, already dominated by Madden, made for those who specifically followed this indoor variant.
Its interest today is mostly documentary: it portrays a league and an era of American sport with less video-game presence than the NFL, and serves as a curiosity for collectors of PS2's sports genre.
