Tied to the lighthearted tone of the French comic's adaptations, it offers platforming levels and sports minigames with the most famous Gauls in European comics, betting on visual humor over gameplay depth. Like much of Asterix's video game adaptations, it stayed within the French and European publishing circuit.
It's a title built for a family audience, closer in spirit to a children's-licensed game than to a design ambition of its own.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
