Beyond Good & Evil follows Jade, a photographer and reporter who uncovers a conspiracy on her planet while combining exploration, stealth, hand-to-hand combat, and a wildlife photography system that rewards curiosity as much as action. Directed by Michel Ancel (Rayman), it's one of the most beloved works in Ubisoft's catalog from that generation despite its modest sales at the time.
Over the years it became a cult classic championed by critics and players, and its unfinished story -Ubisoft announced a sequel that has been in development for over a decade- only fed its mythical status further. It remains one of the most recommendable adventures in the entire PS2 library.
